Events House have worked with F1 for over 10 years, continuously producing new and exciting activations to fulfill F1’s strategy of engaging members of the public across all race locations, every year, across the world. Our brand activations include Simracing, Pitstop Challenge, Driver Selfie, Podium, Trophy, Giant Helmet, F1 Show Car and This is F1 4D each with their own story of evolution. We also deliver three activations developed by F1 to complement the existing activations: Blast Lane, Virtual Pit Tours and Paint Shop. These are managed and delivered by our expert events team at 23 races on the F1 calendar.
Leading into 2024 we have five permanent Global kits to service the complex F1 race calendar before us. The in-market kits include but are not limited to the UAE, Americas, European and Australasia regions. Over the years F1 has experienced enormous growth and exponential popularity especially since the release of Drive to Survive back in 2019. Since then, we have evolved beyond our original offering and what was then known as the F1 Gamezone has now become the F1 Fanzone, with many of our longstanding activations transforming within it. Since the world reopened following lockdown, the events industry has skyrocketed to new heights, and we have expanded our offering beyond anything produced in the past; in order to accommodate the growing popularity of F1 and engage more fans than ever. Having serviced 190+ races over the last ten years, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the F1 experience to its audience.
Activation engagement is at the heart of what we do, so not only do we activate brands and partners, but we also measure the success of our activations using our in-house registration system. The registration process offers fans the opportunity to compete, engage and explore the world of F1.
Long withstanding activations such as Esports and the Pitstop Challenge have experienced several upgrades into the 2023 season. Sim Racing has been doubled on most races and a full rebrand has taken place, debuting its new name Simracing at the Austrian Grand Prix in 2023. The Pitstop Challenge has become an LED-backed activation where content can be displayed across the entire back wall of the container. This version of the Pitstop has been deployed in both the European and US markets and has seen excellent reception at night events such Las Vegas GP in 2023, where the gamification of the experience is enhanced through footage of the car pitting for a tyre change; bringing the entire experience to life.
Another activation that has been brought to life through continued development of content and improvement in features is This is F1 4D. Central to the activation is the F1 show car, showcased by a short, timetabled, curated show of incredible drama and the spectacle within F1; aiming to allow fans to experience the full power of F1. Thumping bass, rumbling engines, tyre smoke and exciting screen content transports the F1 atmosphere straight from the track and into the F1 Fanzone.
